Welcome! I'm Lyn Ermer, the owner of Knit and Stitch = Bliss, conveniently located three blocks south of the Metro's Bethesda station on the red line (and we have free parking too). My commitment is to make us your favorite knitting, crochet, and fiber arts store. My desire is to make your time here blissful. My staff and I find joy when working with yarn. We love finding new fibers and learning new techniques. We want to share our excitement and enthusiasm with you.
Knit and Stitch = Bliss. We think this name best reflects the philosophy that motivates us to serve you, our wonderful customers.
Our philosophy is to offer a broad appeal to all skill levels, tastes and pocketbooks of knitters and crocheters. Look for something new and exciting each month as we expand our fiber lines and color ranges. Many accessory items have been added as well. Our line of designer knitting needles is to die for.
Whether you're buying a skein of yarn, or supplies for a major project; whether you shop in person, on the phone or online, we want you to feel comfortable during every visit to Knit and Stitch. Crocheting, and knitting are warm and fuzzy pass times, and we would like your experience in our store to be fun!
We want this to be your knitting and crochet shop. Feel free to make suggestions or comments to any of us or drop them in our suggestion box... Perhaps a new yarn or item you'd like to see or a class you'd like to take.
The real difference between a good store and a great store is the staff. Our staff is simply extraordinary. They have a depth of experience in different areas, from crocheting a bowl with food to making a silk dress for a 90 lb. dog to knitting wire jewelry. Whatever your interest, there is someone here to share it with you.
You can contact me at the shop, 4706 Bethesda Ave., Bethesda, MD 20814, or by telephone, 301-652-8688 or 1-866-5NEEDLE (866-563-3353/toll free), or by e-mailing me. I am here to serve you.
P.S. Knit and Stitch = Bliss(tm) is owned by Lyn's Needlework, Inc., a Maryland corporation. From April 2001 through April 2003, Knit and Stitch = Bliss was called The Needlework Loft. We changed our name to better reflect our philosophy.
