Learn the fundamentals of knitting in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. You will learn to cast on, knit, purl,
increase, decrease, and bind off. Come in 15 minutes before class to purchase materials: A ball of
worsted weight yarn (dark color is not advised) and knitting needles size 8 or 9.
Two 2-hour sessions. Fee $65 (includes how to book)

Family Beginning Knitting
A great class for families who want to learn to knit together, this class will feature family members
learning the basic skills of knitting. This class is geared mostly towards a combination of adults and
children (i.e. parent/child) but is open to any group of 2+.
Three 1 ½ hour sessions. Fee $ 125 per couple, $60 for each additional family member. (includes
one how to book per family)

Some classes make a specific project. Please check when registering. Prerequisite for all classes: cast-on, knit, purl, bind-off. |

Circular Socks **PROJECT CLASS
Learn the skills for knitting socks using two circular needles instead of double pointed needles. We
will cover knitting in the round, turning a heel, picking up stitches, and the Kitchener stitch.
Come 15 minutes before class to purchase supplies: Two different colors of worsted weight yarn and
2 sets of size 5 circular needles (different lengths suggested).
Three 1.5-hour sessions. Fee $65

Lace Beginnings
Do you love the look of lacework but are afraid to dive in? This class will get you set with the

Learn how to pick up your stitches and how to knit in the round. A small bowl will be started during the
class. Bowl can be taken home and felted or brought back to use our felting machine.
BRING: a knit rectangle still on the needles (10 stitches wide and 22 rows long) using either bulky weight
yarn or worsted weight doubled and size 15 double pointed or 16” circular needles. Approximately 100
yards of yarn for completing the bowl.
One 1.5 hour session. Fee $35.
